Madassis’s medical assistance call center is one of the leaders in its field, providing a wide range of services to its clients, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The call center consists of a team of paramedics, travel agents and experienced service representatives, skilled and courteous professionals who are responsible for handling the required assistance to all applicants, and is responsible for managing the interfaces between all the medical bodies in Israel and worldwide: Airliners, ambulance companies in Israel and abroad, as well as communications with the applicant for service. The team works by means of advanced technological systems for the management of aid cases and switchboard and telephony systems, which enable the recording of calls and assistance through internet communications. Moshe Grossberger started out as an emergency medical assistant and ambulance driver for Magen David Adom, and has vast medical knowledge. Mr. Grossberger has 10 years’ experience in planning and executing combined medical and logistical operations, and specializes in handling complex and unpredictable evacuations and situations.
Tal Karni, COO
Tal holds a bachelor’s degree in health systems management and a master’s degree in business management, Tal has more then 15 years of experience in medical assistance, managing and costumer service.
Dr. Oded Bitton, Senior Medical Consultant
Dr. Bitton is a specialist in Family Medicine, the Deputy Director of the Health Clinics Network in Be’er Sheva, ‘Briuta’ and a former evacuation department commander in the Israel Air Force. Dr. Bitton has more than 15 years of experience in Emergency and Family medicine as part of regular military service and in the community, as well as an airborne doctor and a consultant doctor for medical flights.
Dr. Ami Mayo, Medical Director
Dr. Mayo is a leading Trauma and Intensive Care surgeon, Director of the Intensive Care Unit at Assuta Hospital in Ashdod and a lecturer at the Ben-Gurion University School of Medicine. Dr. Mayo has been practicing medical aeronautics in the Israel Air Force for 25 years and serves as a surgeon for special missions in the Air Force’s rescue and evacuation unit. Dr. Mayo has more than 25 years of experience in intensive care, trauma and surgery, and has been providing medical advice to patients worldwide.
Rotem Barkan, Call center manager
Rotem holds a bachelor’s degree in health systems management and a master’s degree in consulting and organizational development. Rotem has extensive experience in customer service and guidance, and manages all the activities that the Assistants Center staff is responsible for.
Dr. Daniel King, Senior Medical Consultant
Dr. King is a specialist in intensive care, internal medicine and pulmonary diseases, and a senior physician in the lung and respiratory intensive care department at Meir Hospital. He has more than 20 years of experience in hospital and community medicine and over 5 years of experience as an airborne physician and consultant physician for medical flights.
